Conferencing and Outdoor Education
For
anyone who lives, works, or learns behind closed doors...
Welcome to YMCA Camp
Duncan!
Since 1921, Camp Duncan has served youth and
adults from the Chicago-land area. A branch of Chicago Metropolitan
YMCA, Camp Duncan is committed to the development of a healthy mind,
body, and spirit. Camp Duncan partners with parents, teachers,
religious leaders, business leaders, and corporate executives to provide
numerous programs and activities, in accordance with our core values of
Caring, Honest, Respect, and Responsibility.

Retreat / Conference Camping
When planning a conference or
retreat for your business, worship group, scouts, snowball, or University
group take a look at YMCA Camp Duncan. Camp Duncan is close to home,
and yet far from the ordinary. Located on Fish Lake, Camp Duncan is
approximately 55 miles northwest of Chicago and 60 miles southwest of
Milwaukee.

Team Building
Camp Duncan can offer your group with a variety of team building
activities. We adapt each session to the specific needs of the group
but we focus on leadership, trust, communication, team work, and
listening skills. We can accomplish the enhancement of these skills at
our teams course, climbing tower, high ropes, and/or other group
initiative activities.

Meeting Rooms
Camp Duncan
is a great place to hold monthly / annual meetings as the quietness of
the camp environment provides a great climate to get work
accomplished. Camp has various sized meeting rooms that can be set up
for the specific needs of your group. We can accommodate groups from 20
- 400 participants.
Recreational
Activities
Camp Duncan
as a weekend retreat can offer a great mix of outdoor
recreational activities for your group. A day can easily be filled
with activities such as climbing tower, archery, boating, hiking, wagon
rides, campfires, crafts and more.

Outdoor Environmental Education
Camp Duncan is much more than a place to take
students for a field trip. It is a special place that gives students a
hands-on experience with nature through enriching activities in the
outdoors.
Classrooms come to life on our 300 acres of
forest trails, meadowlands and 65 acre lake. We welcome school groups
(public, private, and home), and other learning institutions throughout
the year. Our unique program design involves the entire academic
curriculum including art, science, and social studies. Outdoor
education is more than learning, it is living within our natural
environment.
